Today we became the owners of a 900 sq ft, 1945 flat-roofed house in the Greenwood neighborhood of Seattle. The house comes with a detached 1000 sq ft sunny artist’s studio with gleaming wood floors and the cutest little apartment inside. It also has a substantial chicken coop which will soon be a greenhouse, plenty of growing space and lots of fruit trees. And not one single closet!
We’re so excited about the new life that’s about to start next week. I can’t wait to show y’all the house and our plans for it. We can’t wait to host visitors in the studio apartment. We can’t wait to be in the PNW.
Everything is feeling new and hopeful and fresh and so, so free. Feeling very lucky today and very excited.
